EN 10219

Size range: 20x20mm to 500x500mm. Wall thickness: 1.2mm to 16mm. Standard lengths: 6m and 12m, custom lengths on request.

Grades supplied: S235JRH, S275J0H/J2H, S355J0H/J2H/K2H, S460NH. Surface finish: black mill finish, hot-dip galvanized, or painted/primed. Every lot ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test report.

a square section carries equal moment of inertia and equal radius of gyration on both axes. There is no weak axis to check, no weaker direction to oversize for. For columns and frame members exposed to load from more than one direction - corner columns, wind and seismic frames, biaxially loaded members - this is why square is specified, and it is why we keep this as a core product line rather than a cut-to-size sideline.

Squareness is controlled in our production, not left to the mill tolerance band on paper.

A: Yes - send the DXF or DWG file with slot and hole positions and we return a quote covering both the raw tube and the processing, so you can compare it directly against doing the work in your own shop.

Q: Will galvanizing after fabrication affect our bolted flange-plate holes?

A: Coating thickness (typically 45-85 microns) adds to hole clearance if drilling happens before galvanizing. Tell us your sequence - drill-then-galvanize or galvanize-then-drill - before we quote, and we will size and place the holes to match.

A: Yes - flat plate cut to your gusset dimensions, in the same or a compatible grade, shipped together with the tube so you are not sourcing connection material from a second supplier.

A: Both, on request. The mill test report covers chemistry and mechanical properties; the squareness inspection log (leg length and diagonal per lot) is available alongside it - ask for it when you request your quote.
